Job summary

Prosegur in Illinois is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff, with emphasis on proactive safety and client service.

The role requires basic to intermediate computer skills, strong written and spoken communication, and the ability to perform patrols in all weather. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• PERC Card and D- License required.
• Customer service oriented with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
