Absolute International Security in Northridge, California seeks an Unarmed Security Guard – Driving to maintain a secure environment. The role requires performing driving patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents while delivering professional, customer-focused service to clients and employees.

You will operate company patrol vehicles, follow site protocols, and coordinate with supervisors and responders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and client requirements.
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Must possess California Guard Card.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity.
• Perform thorough routine driving patrols of the assigned area.
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs.

Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard – Driving

Pay Rate: $18.50 – $19.67

Location: Northridge, California

Available Job Shifts:

• Saturday – Sunday: Day Shift (06:00 – 14:00)
• Tuesday: Grave Shift (23:00 – 06:00)
• Thursday: Swing Shift (16:00 – 23:00)

FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Job Overview

Absolute International Security is seeking highly professional security guards responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a customer-service focused demeanor, a neat and tidy appearance, along with the ability to perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity
• Perform thorough routine driving patrols of the assigned area including of maintainence equipment storage yards
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
• Maintain authorized less-than-letahal equipment in compliance with company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
• Ability to drive a company patrol vehicle in a safe and defensive manner for driving positions
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
• Comfortable working outdoors, including during varied weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be dependable, committed to ethical conduct, and acts with integrity
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards

License & Certification Requirements

• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
• Pepper Spray Certification
• Baton Permit

Additional Preferred Skills

• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
