Absolute International Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard - Driving in Southern California. The role involves visible deterrence, driving patrols, access control, and incident reporting to ensure a safe environment for clients and visitors.

Candidates must have a California Guard Card, pass background checks, and be capable of outdoor work in varied weather. Weekly pay and benefits are offered, with flexible shifts available.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal & transient activity.
• Perform thorough routine driving patrols of the assigned area including of construction equipment & storage areas.
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times.
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.

• Monday - Friday: Swing Shift (17:00 - 23:30)
• Monday - Friday: Grave Shift (23:30 - 06:00)
• Saturday - Sunday: Swing Shift (17:00 - 23:30)
• Saturday - Sunday: Grave Shift (23:30 - 06:00)

FLSA Status

Full-Time / Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal & transient activity

• Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
• Ability to drive a company patrol vehicle in a safe and defensive manner for driving positions
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
• Comfortable working outdoors, including during varied weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be dependable, committed to ethical conduct, and acts with integrity
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards

License & Certification Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card
• Valid Government ID
• Valid Driver's License

Additional Preferred Skills

• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Security Guard Training Certificates preferred
• De-escalation and conflict management skills
