Job Skills / Requirements

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting professional security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team in Vicksburg.

Position: Unarmed Indoor Patrol

Pay rate: $13/hour, paid weekly

Shift Time: 10:00 am - 11:30 pm

Apply today! Full-time and part-time positions available. Retirees and veterans are welcome. Prior law enforcement, military, and/or 1 year of security experience is a plus; however, training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
• Perform control procedures when necessary
• Operate emergency equipment
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports
• Investigate breaches of property

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Sound communication skills
• Professional presentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, 7 days a week
• Reliable transportation
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screening

Physical and Mental Job Requirements

• Effective communication skills for emergencies
• Ability to read, interpret, and respond to written information
• Ability to drive if required
• Ability to detect sounds relevant to emergencies
• Physical ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs waist high
• Good mental health to make quick decisions in emergencies
• Must meet state licensing requirements for security officers
