AEGIS Security & Investigations, Inc. is hiring an Unarmed Security Guard for a High Rise Residential Building in San Francisco, CA. The role is part-time with Fridays and Saturdays 3pm-11pm shifts and may include on-call flex coverage.

Responsibilities focus on crime prevention, customer service, and maintaining a safe environment. Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience (1–4 years) is preferred, with BSIS training required.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
• Completion of 40 hours BSIS training and most recent annual refresher.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Own a black business suit, white shirt, black tie, belt, socks, and dress shoes.
• Armed assignments may require a BSIS Firearms Permit and pepper spray permit.

Responsibilities

• Crime and violence prevention and customer service.
• Patrol the work site on foot and monitor entry points.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Perform access control by monitoring entrances and departures.
• Guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms.
• Circulate among visitors and employees to preserve order.
• Respond to on-site emergencies by contacting local authorities.
• Conduct searches or screenings when required.
• Communicate and enforce applicable laws, site codes, and policies.

AEGIS Security & Investigations is hiringexperienced Unarmed security officersfor a High Rise Residential Building.

This position focuses oncrime prevention, customer service, and maintaining a safe environment for clients and guests.

Job Duties

The primary roles arecrime and violence preventionandcustomer service.

Security Officers may be responsible for the following:

Assist with physical security functions and personal safety measures for clients

Patrol the work site on foot for the duration of the shift, or as instructed, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of all property entry points

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, missing equipment, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Perform access control procedures by monitoring and regulating the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons

Guard against theft and maintain security of the premises

Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms

Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property through crowd control measures

Respond to on-site emergencies by contacting local law enforcement or other first responders

Conduct pat-down searches or metal detector screening when required

Communicate and enforce applicable laws, policies, and site codes

Interact professionally with colleagues, supervisors, clients, employees, and visitors at the work site

Employees who possess avalid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit and pepper spray permitmay qualify forarmed assignments when available and approved.

Security Agents may initially work12–50 hours per weekthroughout the county before moving into regular full-time assignments.
