Job summary

AEGIS Security & Investigations is hiring experienced unarmed security officers for a High Rise Residential Building in San Francisco, CA. The role emphasizes crime prevention, customer service, and maintaining a safe environment for clients and guests.

Fridays and Saturdays 3pm-11pm (part-time). 1–4 years in security, BSIS training, and a clean record are expected; armed assignments may be available for qualified personnel.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
• Completion of 40 hours BSIS training and most recent annual refresher.
• Strong English communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical security functions and personal safety measures for clients.
• Patrol the site on foot to prevent intrusions and secure entry points.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Perform access control by monitoring entrances and departures.
• Guard against theft and maintain premises security.
• Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms.
• Circulate among visitors and employees to preserve order.
• Respond to on-site emergencies by contacting first responders.
• Enforce applicable laws, policies and site codes.
• Interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and visitors.

Looking to hire immediately for an High Rise Residential Building in San Francisco, CA:

• (Part Time Schedule): Fridays and Saturdays 3pm-11pm
• On-Call Flex Officers

AEGIS Security & Investigations is hiringexperienced Unarmed security officersfor a High Rise Residential Building.

This position focuses oncrime prevention, customer service, and maintaining a safe environment for clients and guests.

Job Duties

The primary roles arecrime and violence preventionandcustomer service.

Security Officers may be responsible for the following:

Assist with physical security functions and personal safety measures for clients

Patrol the work site on foot for the duration of the shift, or as instructed, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of all property entry points

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, missing equipment, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Perform access control procedures by monitoring and regulating the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons

Guard against theft and maintain security of the premises

Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms

Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property through crowd control measures

Respond to on-site emergencies by contacting local law enforcement or other first responders

Conduct pat-down searches or metal detector screening when required

Communicate and enforce applicable laws, policies, and site codes

Interact professionally with colleagues, supervisors, clients, employees, and visitors at the work site

Employees who possess avalid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit and pepper spray permitmay qualify forarmed assignments when available and approved.

1–4 years experiencein security, military, or law enforcement

Own ablack business suit, white dress shirt, black tie, belt, socks, and dress shoes or polished boots

High school diploma or GED required

Chemical agent permit

$19-21/hr depending on experience, qualifications, and assignment

Security Agents may initially work12–50 hours per weekthroughout the county before moving into regular full-time assignments.
