Job summary

Absolute International Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Guard in Perris, California. The role requires maintaining a safe environment, patrolling, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities include performing patrols, logging activities, and coordinating with law enforcement as needed. Must pass background checks, have CPR/First Aid/AED, and meet licensing requirements. Weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deterrence of rule violations and unsafe behavior.
• Perform routine patrols of the assigned area including facilities and parking.
• Monitor entrances and exits of employees, visitors, vehicles.
• Control access points and log visitors and vendors.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, hazards, or policy violations.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients by radio, phone, or in person.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain required equipment in compliance with standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service while ensuring safety and security.
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and company procedures.

Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard

Pay Rate: $17.10 - $17.60

Location: Perris, California

Job Shift: Monday - Friday: Swing Shift (12:00 - 20:00)

FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Job Overview

Absolute International Security is seeking highly professional security guards responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a customer-service focused demeanor, a neat and tidy appearance, along with the ability to perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity
• Perform thorough routine patrols of the assigned area including of public social services facility and surrounding parking lot
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
• Maintain authorized less-than-letahal equipment in compliance with company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
• Comfortable working outdoors, including during varied weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be dependable, committed to ethical conduct, and acts with integrity
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards

License & Certification Requirements

• Valid Government ID
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification

Additional Preferred Skills

• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Security Guard Training Certificates preferred
• De-escalation and conflict management skills
