Job summary

EITACIES Inc. is seeking an entry‑level security guard for an onsite position in Nashville, TN. You will work the night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, five days per week with weekends included, guarding facilities and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities include patrolling, verifying visitor identities, responding to emergencies, and maintaining incident reports. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with CPR preferred and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Controls the entrance and exit of individuals by verifying identity, purpose of visit, and authorization.
• Escorts individuals as needed to ensure their safety.
• Responds to calls and takes appropriate action to assist in emergency situations.
• Searches for and apprehends missing or unauthorized individuals.
• Reports security concerns to supervisors.
• Communicates with law enforcement agencies to exchange information and request assistance.
• Prepares and maintains incident reports, vehicle citations, visitor logs, and personal property reports.

Schedule: 5 days per week, weekends included

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for institutional and related security work of average difficulty and performs related work as required. This is the entry level working class in the security guard subseries. An employee in this class may be assigned to work any shift while providing a full range of institutional and other security activities, such as the protection of public buildings.

• Qualifying full-time law enforcement, security, or related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
