Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard

Location: Irvine, CA

Shift: Full-Time, 8 AM to 5 PM

Starting Salary: $17 per hour

Job Description:

As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our premises, ensuring the safety and security of our property and personnel. Your responsibilities will require a high level of vigilance and integrity, as well as a friendly demeanor towards office staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols around the property to ensure it is secure.
• Monitor the premises for any irregularities, which includes but is not limited to: suspicious behavior, fire hazards, and security breaches.
• Manage entrance security, welcoming office staff warmly and ensuring that all visitors adhere to security protocols.
• Receive deliveries efficiently, verifying documentation and coordinating with office staff as necessary.
• Maintain clear and detailed logs of security-related incidents.
• Report any security incidents or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Provide a visible presence that deters safety threats and reassures office staff.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in security services is preferred but not required.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing for long hours and patrolling the property.
• Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
