Strategic Security Corp. is hiring an Unarmed Security Guard in Garfield, NJ. The role requires patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering professional customer service in diverse settings.

You will monitor CCTV and access systems, report incidents, and coordinate with local law enforcement when needed. Candidates should have a HS diploma and security licensing where required, with previous security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License if required.
• Must pass applicable licensing tests if operating company/client vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents and suspicious activity.
• Serve as liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area.
