GardaWorld Security is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments and respond to emergencies. You will monitor access points, conduct security checks, and work with law enforcement as needed, while upholding all regulations and reporting incidents in detail.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Responsibilities

Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.

• Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.
• Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• You are 21 years old or older
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a CT State Security Guard License endorsement
• Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to respond to high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
