Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services in Mansfield, CT is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol retail environments, airports, and other facilities. You will respond to disturbances, assess risk, and act decisively to maintain safety while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• You are 21 years old or older
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a CT State Security Guard License endorsement
• Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.
• Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.
• Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
