Strategic Security Corp. seeks an attentive Unarmed Security Guard to provide a visible security presence and assist customers in a fast-paced environment. Shift: Mon-Wed 11:30am-5:30pm in Visalia, CA.

You will patrol, monitor CCTV, control access, report incidents, and coordinate with local authorities when needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma, eligibility for a California unarmed guard license, and at least one year of security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have or obtain State Unarmed Security Guard License.
• One year of security experience preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment checks and licensing tests where required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols and monitor surveillance systems.

SummaryAs an Unarmed Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing a visible security presence and maintaining a safe and secure environment within a government, corporate, retail, or commercial setting. This role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and excellent customer service skills. We are hiring for Monday-Wednesday 11:30am-5:30pm shift.Primary responsibilities include conducting foot patrols, monitoring surveillance and alarm systems, controlling access and egress, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and responding appropriately to safety or security concerns. Officers are expected to complete accurate reports and maintain detailed logs in accordance with post orders and company policy.In addition to physical security duties, this position actively supports SSC’s G.E.T. Principles — Greet, Engage, and Thank, ensuring a positive experience for customers, visitors, associates, and employees.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assignedObserve, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behaviorMonitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systemsControl entry and exit points and verify authorized accessIdentify and address safety hazards or irregular conditionsRespond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as requiredAssist with basic first aid and emergency notificationsPrepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activityServe as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessaryMaintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all timesCustomer Service & Engagement (G.E.T.
