Job summary

Pennine Security Solutions is seeking a part-time security officer to manage access control at a HOA complex in St Pete. You will work weekends across 16-24 hours weekly, with shifts spanning morning to evening, ensuring safety and high-quality guest service.

The role requires standing for extended periods, a D License, and the ability to operate a gatehouse and patrol the property; training provided, group health benefits after 60 days for eligible staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control at the gatehouse and monitor entry.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and guests.
• Operate and maintain a gatehouse environment.
• Record accurate logs and complete admin tasks.
• Occasionally patrol the property by golf cart and enforce rules.
• Supervise guest, contractor, and delivery check-ins/outs.
• Monitor CCTV and card access systems and respond to alarms.

Job Description:

Site: A HOA complex located in St Pete

Job Type: Part time (16-24 hours)

Schedule: Weekends (We have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Compensation rate: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide access control to the complex through the gatehouse.
• Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative of our client's organizations
• Operate and maintain a gatehouse environment
• Provide accurate and detailed administrational work
• Roving work will be required throughout the property so must be comfortable with operating a golf cart
• Enforce of property rules in order to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets
• Supervise the logging in and out guests, contractors, and deliveries
• Monitor CCTV and card access systems
• Ensure that safety and emergency protocols are followed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
• Fire Watch may be required for some of the buildings
• Review, know and follow the site post order.
• Maintain safe working environment and follow the facilities health and safety procedures
• Additional duties as assigned

The Ideal candidate will possess:

• Valid "D" Security Guard License
• Exceptional customer service skills (Hospitality sector experience is always an asset)
• Be comfortable with long periods of standing
