PalAmerican Security is hiring a Residential Gate Security Officer for our Jensen Beach site. This full-time, 30-hour week position involves gatehouse access control, safeguarding residents and visitors, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a U.S. Citizen.
• Possess a valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Have a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Own and maintain a reliable smartphone.
• Possess basic computer proficiency and the ability to operate gatehouse systems.
• Have strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Be able to work independently and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to residential communities and properties.
• Verify and authorize entry and exit of residents, guests, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to identify and prevent security concerns.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and security incidents.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or unauthorized individuals.
• Accurately complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Contact emergency services when necessary and assist during emergency situations.
• Maintain a professional presence while providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
• Enforce community access policies and security procedures.

PalAmerican has an immediate Full-Time 30 hr. Unarmed Security opening at our site in Jensen Beach.
REQUIRED SCHEDULE: MON - FRI 1PM - 7PM (6hr shift). This TOTAL 30 hrs per week position qualifies for FULL-TIME BENEFITS after probation period.
Flexibility to cover other open shifts weekends/weekdays is a PLUS!
This site is a gated residential community and Country Club. Officers provide access control from an onsite Gatehouse. No patrols.
