Job Description:

• Maintain high visibility as a deterrent to crime
• Answer questions and handle minor issues
• Monitor entry and exit points
• Report situations and emergencies promptly
• Contact law enforcement in emergencies
• Inspect facilities for security breaches
• Note after-hours activities
• Report accidents and damages
• Protect property and deter theft
• Report unusual conditions
• Maintain logs and incident reports

Qualifications:

• Good judgment, alertness, and ability to follow instructions
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to write reports and monitor security systems

Requirements:

• Physical examination within 6 months
• Pre-employment drug screening
• Training in security procedures and emergency response
• Completion of required training courses

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

Licensing, Permits & Certifications:

• Valid California Driver's License or ID
• Driver's license if driving is required
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Guard Registration card

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical security tasks
• Good health and vision
• Normal hearing levels
