Qualifications

• Virginia DCJS registration and training for an unarmed security officer.
• Must pass the required background screening.

• Previous security, residential, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residential property and maintain a visible security presence.
• Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of designated areas.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to resident concerns and security incidents professionally.
• Enforce property rules and access control procedures per post orders.
• Maintain daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Assist residents and visitors with directions and inquiries.
• Contact emergency services when necessary and follow procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors, property management, and other security personnel.
• Follow all company policies, site orders, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the residential property and maintain a visible security presence.

• Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of designated areas.

• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points as assigned.
