Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Foot Patrol for our Bessemer, AL location. The role involves protecting clients across industries at a logistics site, performing routine and random patrols, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

You will provide excellent customer service, monitor access points, document activities, and respond to incidents in line with established protocols. This is a full-time on-site position with daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Must provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
