Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and capable of meeting state requirements.
• Reliable and adaptable to changing post assignments and schedules.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and monitoring consoles.
• Clear, professional communication with the public and staff.
• Strong listening skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and act appropriately.
• Mediation of conflicts with tact and diplomacy.
• Works well in a team and shows attention to detail.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular conditions, safety hazards, or security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities as needed.
• Deter loitering, rule infractions, and unauthorized access.
• Control entry points and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe and document incidents; maintain post logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Follow site post orders for emergency notifications.
