Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Field Inspection. You will drive to government locations, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service while upholding company values.

A minimum of 1 year security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures and policies, and assist with emergency responses at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear incident reports and logs in accordance with site procedures.
