Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driver in Kingsport, TN to protect client facilities across industries. You will perform driving patrols, respond to incidents, monitor access points, and maintain professional communication with clients while upholding site policies.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to work a defined schedule, and compliance with background and drug screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license or equivalent driving credentials.
• Access control and badge systems experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, production-adjacent areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity per site requirements.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while adhering to PPE procedures.
