Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time unarmed role focuses on access control, patrols, and customer service for financial institution clients.

A valid driver's license and a background-friendly stance are required; drivers will be scheduled to cover driving posts. You will support a professional, caring team with strong integrity, providing security procedures, incident response, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations; escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorized access, document activities and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors and responding personnel.
