Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Concierge Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service in office towers, hotels and shopping centers. You will greet visitors, verify identities and guide guests while maintaining a visible security presence.

Candidates should have 3+ years in security or related fields, be able to obtain DC licenses if required, and complete a 40-hour training. GardaWorld offers a competitive hourly wage, benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 3 years or more
• DC Special Police Officer - Unarmed or DC Security Officer license
• At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Phone skills and computer literacy
• Must complete a 40 hour basic training course

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Set schedule: Open availability for scheduling required for weekdays and weekends. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off and scheduling could vary based on site needs. This is a flex schedule. Not able to guarantee full time hours

Qualifications For Concierge Security Guard

• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 3 years or more
• You have a DC Special Police Officer -Unarmed or DC Security Officer license
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• You have CPR/First Aid Certification
• You have phone skills and computer literacy
• Must be able to successfully complete a 40 hour basic training course
