Overview

Big Sky Resort is seeking dedicated and proactive Seasonal Safety and Security Team Members to ensure the safety and security of our expansive resort properties. In this full-time seasonal role, you will be empowered to patrol all resort-owned areas, conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents, and proactively identify and address potential safety hazards. Your responsibilities will also include providing crucial support for security matters within our hotels and team member housing. As a self-starter who thrives both independently and collaboratively, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for our guests and team members throughout the Big Sky season.

Big Sky Resort is seeking full time seasonal applicants ONLY, with opportunites to extend to future seasons.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security coverage during business and non-business hours.
• Assist with all workplace security matters, ensuring strict adherence to established procedures.
• Act as the first responder to any security issues on Big Sky Resort property, including contacting local emergency services (911) when necessary.
• Draft comprehensive Incident Reports and maintain accurate Daily Activity Reports.
• Monitor CCTV systems and maintain constant surveillance of the resort grounds.
• Collaborate with the Security Manager on safety and security projects for the resort.
• Use company equipment and vehicles to patrol all interior and exterior resort-owned properties in the Big Sky area.
• Depending on the shift, respond to on-call emergencies after hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to list up to 25 lbs. unassisted and climb multiple flights of stairs without assistance. Must be able to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day.
• Ability to present current CPR Certification and Montana State Guard Card is strongly preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in the hotel or hospitality field is strongly preferred.
• Must demonstrate a strong balance between analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
