Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring an Unarmed Retail Security Officer for the Murray, UT area. The role involves patrolling exterior property, maintaining a visible security presence, and assisting guests and employees with directions and safety support.

You will monitor for suspicious activity and respond to incidents with clear reporting. The position requires at least a high school diploma, a valid unarmed security license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Non-commissioned/unarmed security license via DOPL.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to write clear reports.
• Computer skills required.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Experience with monitoring and surveillance.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous foot and vehicle patrols of exterior property, parking lots and perimeter areas.
• Maintain a high-visibility security presence to deter incidents and protect guests.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, loitering, vandalism and safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to incidents and provide first-response until authorities arrive.
• Document incidents with clear, timely reports.
• Assist guests, tenants and employees with directions and general support.
• Inspect external doors, gates, lighting and access points and report issues.
• Coordinate with onsite management and local authorities as needed.
