Job summary

IPS Security is seeking an Unarmed Retail Security Guard in California to protect customers, employees, and store property. You will patrol the premises, monitor surveillance, and respond to emergencies while upholding store policies and loss-prevention measures.

The role requires a valid BSIS security license, open availability for on-call shifts, and the ability to travel to multiple locations. Excellent communication and a professional demeanor are essential as you help create a safe shopping

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol store premises to ensure safety for customers and staff.
• Monitor surveillance footage and respond to security incidents.
• Enforce store policies, including theft prevention and loss prevention.
• Assist with investigation of thefts and security-related incidents.
• Document and report security-related incidents clearly and promptly.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

This includes patrolling the store premises, monitoring surveillance footage, and responding to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
