Job summary

CLG & Associates LLC is seeking a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support our Maryland campus operations. The role includes monitoring entrances, patrolling facilities, directing traffic, and contacting emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of three years in security, and strong basic writing/computer skills. Background checks and drug testing are required; on-site hours are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• Basic writing and basic computer skills (Word and Excel) are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and Authorize Entrance and Departure of Employees, Visitors, and Students.
• Patrol Campus with assigned Security Vehicle to ensure Employees, Students and Building are Secured.
• Direct Traffic
• Contact Emergency Responders, such as Police, Fire Department, and/or Ambulance Personnel, as Needed.
• Writes Reports of Unusual Activities and Events.
• Communicate with Staff and Management as Needed.

Security Officer Qualifications:

• Retired Law Enforcement Preferred.
• Experienced Security Officer Preferred.
• Applicant must provide a certified copy of Driver's License.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must have a valid Maryland Security Guard Card.
• Seeking motivated individuals with a minimum of Three (3) years of Security Experience.
• Minimum of Three (3) years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• All applicants are subject to a Background Check and Drug Testing
• Applicants must have reliable transportation
• Hours: 8:00AM - 3:00PM
• Basic writing and basic computer skills (Word and Excel) are required
