Job summary

Allied Universal in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver to protect sites across manufacturing and industrial locations. You will monitor areas, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering professional customer service.

The position requires a valid driver\u2019s license and a clean driving record; 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and a high school diploma or equivalent. Daytime through night shifts available with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
