Join Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) as an Unarmed Lead Security Officer at a Charter School in The Bronx. We are seeking experienced Security Officers to provide a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Job Details

• Pay Rate: $21.00-$22.00/hr
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 0600-1400

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security inside and outside the school premises.
• Establish rapport with parents, students, staff, and community members.
• Monitor hallways, stairwells, and other areas to maintain safety.
• Assist with emergency procedures, including fire drills and evacuations.
• Supervise student movement during arrival and dismissal.
• Maintain security records and logs.
• Ensure all doors and gates are secured and alarms are engaged.
• Assist staff and emergency personnel during incidents.
• Perform daily operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must be fully vaccinated
• Experience in a school environment preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to verbally de-escalate situations
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Effective communication skills in English

Preferred Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Ability to understand and speak Spanish
