Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Staten Island, NY to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees. You will perform general unarmed security duties, observe for hazards, and report incidents with clear written and oral communication.

The role requires a High School Diploma and an Unarmed Security License, physical capability for foot patrols and moderate lifting, and a customer-service mindset to interact professionally with clients and visitors.

Qualifications

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Pay Rate: 25.00/hr
