Job summary

Battle Tested Security is seeking Event Staff to provide safety, security, and customer service at events. You will act as a representative and liaison, maintaining a professional, positive attitude with guests and staff.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, fluent English, a valid driver's license, and the ability to stand/walk for long periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Outdoor work in varied weather is required.

Event Staff employed by Battle Tested Security will assist local public safety agencies in the performance of their duties in providing service to the surrounding community as it affects the event.Essential Functions:Serve as a representative and liaison of Battle Tested Security, while demonstrating a professional, positive, polite and friendly attitudeTact and discretion must always be used in all interactions with campus guests and employeesPatrol on foot and/or motorized vehicle in some cases within and the events surroundingsRespond quickly to all security needs and calls for serviceProvide customer service to all patrons and employeesConduct regular inspections of all patrol and fixed post assignmentsWrite reports, conduct staff work, interview victims and witnessesRespond to crime scenes and ensure the scene is secured until the arrival of local law enforcementWork closely with local public agencies to accomplish the safety and security goals of Battle Tested SecurityArrive to all shifts on time in proper uniformMust be able to stand post, which may require standing or walking for extended periods of timeA minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalent0 - 1 years of related work experience is preferredMust qualify for Guard/Security License per State regulationFluency in written and spoken EnglishMust obtain a VALID driver's licenseAbility to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentialityAbility to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information for incidentsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended time periods up to 12 hoursAbility to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, up to 12 hoursAbility to operate a motorized vehicleAble to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds, as neededMust be available to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
