Job summary

Arkansas Children’s Hospital is seeking unarmed Security Officers to monitor and protect the ACH Campus, including entry points, screening areas, and parking lots. Positions require certification by the Arkansas State Police and the ability to work 9am–9pm, Monday to Wednesday, with shifts and duties as described.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to emergencies, coordinating with dispatch, and supporting high-traffic periods.

Qualifications

• Patrols assigned areas to enforce AC security/safety regulations and criminal/traffic laws.
• Provides Emergency Response and Emergency Management support.
• Responds to customer service needs as required.
• Assists in controlling traffic and enforcing parking rules and regulations.
• Assists in performing investigations.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas to enforce AC security/safety regulations and criminal/traffic laws.
• Engages in Emergency Response and Emergency Management.
• Provides strategic assistance and responds to customer service needs as required.
• Assists in controlling traffic and enforcing parking rules and regulations.
• Assists in performing investigations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Monitors entry points utilized for screening.
• Unarmed officers would assist armed officers if directed or needed.
• All officers would fill in for dispatchers when no other options are available and as a supplement during high volume and critical circumstances.
