The Cardiothoracic and Abdominal Divisions in the Department of Radiology at the Leonard Miller University of Miami (UM) School of Medicine (UMSOM) invite applications for a full-time Staff Physician, community radiologist. Our Health System is the largest academic center in South Florida, with a rapidly expanding footprint. The applicant would join 13 Abdominal and 7 Cardiothoracic radiologists across multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial (a primary and tertiary care County hospital) and UM Hospitals and Clinics. The primary sites of coverage would be in one of our 5 state-of-the-art ambulatory care facilities in northern Miami-Dade County and Broward County, located in desirable suburban residential communities in South Florida.
The ideal candidate has completed a fellowship in Abdominal and/or Cardiothoracic Imaging and can interpret in both subspecialty areas. Responsibilities include providing clinical imaging services (X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound), some non-invasive fluoroscopic procedures, and on-site clinical consultations. The candidate may also participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, as well as clinical research, journal clubs, and multidisciplinary conferences.
