Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Portfolio Solutions Team seeks a Portfolio Manager to execute Investment Manager and Financial Advisor trade instructions for the UMA program. You’ll work with investment managers and advisors throughout the model delivery and trading process and collaborate with the Trade Solutions desk.

The role requires 3–5 years of investment experience, Series 7/66, strong communication, and the ability to work across time zones; base pay ranges with incentives are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of investment experience.
• Knowledge of financial securities markets, advisory programs and products, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to contribute as an individual while being a strong team player.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Series 7 and 66 designations required or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work international business trading hours.

Responsibilities

• Implement Investment Manager models based on clients' guidelines and program specifications.
• Act as liaison between Investment Managers, advisors and clients to ensure alignment.
• Provide portfolio and account analysis, construction, and daily management.
• Coordinate trade implementation and interact with trading team.
• Contribute to development of solutions and enhancements to drive efficiencies and growth.
• Perform daily account management per client requests and program specs, incl. rebalancing.
