Morgan Stanley is seeking a senior Portfolio Manager Specialist to lead development, maintenance and oversight of investment strategy and asset allocation for clients served by the FA/PWA team. The role operates within the firm’s Portfolio Management program and supports advisors in discretionary investment decisions.

The position requires an extensive background in portfolio management, FINRA licensing, and PM coursework.

Qualifications

Minimum of bachelor’s degree or comparable professional certification required.
10+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
Active Series 7 and 63 and maintain RA registration where required.
Minimum of 3 years FINRA Registration required, 5 years preferred.
Morgan Stanley PM Certification – complete FA discretionary application and required PM coursework prior to designation.

Responsabilités

Open investment advisory accounts and manage investment strategy on a discretionary basis.
Support Financial Advisors in analyzing portfolios and developing PM solutions and strategies.
Lead meetings to discuss investment strategy options and performance.
Develop and oversee investment functions including policies, reporting and performance metrics.
Critically rebalance current portfolio holdings when necessary.
Review and develop recommendations for benchmarks for current asset allocation.
