Job summary

University Radiology in Lyndhurst, NJ is hiring two full-time Ultrasound Vascular Technologists to join our imaging team. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound exams in outpatient settings, maintaining high image quality, and supporting radiologists with clear notes.

Candidates must be RVT certified with ABDOMEN, BREAST and OB/GYN endorsements, ARDMS or ARRT credentials, and 2+ years of experience. We offer competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• ARDMS Abdomen/Breast/OBGYN registrations are required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registered in Vascular Sonography is required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams including Abdominal, OB/GYN, Breast, and Vascular studies.
• Capture high-quality images and provide clear technical notes for radiologists.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Review orders/history to ensure exam appropriateness and protocol compliance.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal images and measurements.
• Identify findings and prepare preliminary notes for interpretation.
• Notify radiologists promptly of urgent/critical findings.
