Job summary

HCA Healthcare's TriCities Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound/vascular procedures, ensure high-quality images, and maintain patient care standards. The role requires accredited ultrasound training and 1 year of vascular/ultrasound experience, with ARRT/RDMS within 1 year of hire and BLS on file.

You will work with PACS, PacsCube, and PowerScribe in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound.
• One year of experience as Vascular and/or Ultrasound Technologist.
• ARRT or RDMS Registered (Required within 1 year of hire).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required).
• Bachelor of Science in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and collects relevant information for procedures.
• Performs ultrasound/vascular procedures following defined protocols.
• Notifies physician or supervisor of unusual patient conditions.
• Compiles records to expedite results.
• Analyzes image quality and processes as required.
• Operates electronic information systems (PACS, PacsCube, PowerScribe).
• Maintains supplies and a clean, organized workspace.
• Participates in continuing education to enhance sonography knowledge.
• Participates in QA/Accreditation processes.
• Render patient care professionally and courteously.
• Other duties as assigned.
