Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. The Ultrasound Technologist positions the patient and equipment and produces appropriate recordings. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
  2. Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
  3. Previous experience preferred.
  4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
  5. Proficient computer skills.
