Job Description: Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer)

The Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) performs diagnostic sonographic procedures as ordered by a staff physician or LIP with minimal supervision from the Manager of Imaging Services.

Required qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Sonography or an accredited healthcare service program
2. National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
3. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

1. 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Sonographer in an acute care setting
