The Staff Pad partnered with a reputable healthcare organization in Manchester, TN to recruit an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join their Radiology team. This full-time, day shift role emphasizes diagnostic imaging excellence and patient-centered care.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited ultrasonography program, ARDMS/CCI certification (or registry-eligible with certification within a year), CPR within 60 days, and hospital-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or demonstrated expertise meeting department standards.
  • ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty preferred or registry-eligible.
  • CPR certification required (must be obtained within 60 days of hire if not currently certified).
  • Previous hospital-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across vascular, cardiac, abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and small parts.
  • Assist with special procedures, including biopsies.
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and families.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding during exams.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile examination environment.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
  • Transport and position patients safely using proper body mechanics.
  • Complete required documentation and ensure accurate study records.
  • Assist with training and orienting new staff.

What You'll Do
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including vascular, cardiac, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and small parts imaging
  • Perform or assist with special procedures, including biopsies, as required
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
  • Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and families
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout examinations
  • Maintain a clean and sterile examination environment
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functionality

What We're Looking For
