Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse is seeking an obstetrical ultrasound technologist to provide professional ultrasound services within the Regional Perinatal Center, performing prenatal screening and diagnostic imaging in accordance with the patient plan of care. The role requires RDMS certification and CPR-BLS; new graduates must obtain RDMS within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified ultrasound program.
• RDMS certification required.
• Current CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment.
• New graduates who are not currently RDMS certified will be required to become certified within 1 year of appointment.
• Candidates with 1 year or more ultrasound sonographer experience will be considered for appointment to a higher level at a commensurate salary.

Job Summary:

Provides professional obstetrical ultrasound services within the Regional Perinatal Center. Specifically, performs patient ultrasound testing related to prenatal screening and diagnosis based on the patient's plan of care. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of a certified ultrasound program. RDMS certification required. Current CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:
