Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital in Washington state seeks a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and assist radiologists in obtaining accurate diagnoses in a patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates have an ARDMS-approved ultrasound education, within-one-year ARDMS/NRT-Sonography certifications, and current BLS, with at least six months of hospital ultrasound experience including OB/GYN, abdominal, small parts and vascular duplex studies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ultrasound program approved by ARDMS.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARDMS National Certification.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months Hospital experience including all general ultrasound procedures including OB/GYN, Abdominal, small parts, intra cavity and color flow studies, extremity venous Duplex and carotid Duplex.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and assist radiologists in obtaining a diagnosis.
• Support patient care and maintain imaging quality standards.
