Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for High Point Medical Center in High Point, NC. This full-time role offers a 40-hour week with a schedule of 10:30a–9:00p, and a pay range of $35.50–$53.25 per hour.

Eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus for experienced techs and $10,000 for new graduates, plus $5,000 relocation assistance for qualified candidates. Base compensation reflects experience and departmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S) and AB or OB/GYN registries are required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and develops a superior varied technique for elevated efficiency in the department.
• Supports Patient-CCentered Care by meeting patient needs.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to the Assistant Director/Lead Sonographer/Engineer.
• Operates the Radiology computer system including entering and charging exams and supplies.
• Keeps work area neat and stocked.
