Job summary

Windham Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures for patients from neonatal to geriatric. You will accurately document and maintain patient records, schedule exams, and respond to patient and physician questions in a patient-centered imaging department.

One year of formal ultrasonography training is preferred, and ARDMS registration or eligibility must be maintained.

Qualifications

• One year of formal training in ultrasonography preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must maintain registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or provide proof of eligibility to become registered.
• Must be a graduate of an Allied Health training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures for ultrasound to diagnose disease or injury.
• Provide patient services from neonatal through geriatric.
• Accurately document, file and maintain patient records; schedule exams and respond to questions; may perform other duties in Diagnostic Imaging.
