Job summary

Windham Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across neonatal to geriatric patients. You will document exams, schedule imaging, and respond to patient and physician inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications include one year of ultrasound training (new grads welcome), ARDMS registration or eligibility, and graduation from an Allied Health program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and

• One year of formal training in ultrasonography preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must maintain ARDMS registration or provide proof of eligibility to become registered.
• Graduate of an Allied Health training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures for diagnosis of disease or injury.
• Provides patient services from neonatal through geriatric and documents exams.
• Schedules exams and responds to patient/physician questions.
• May perform other duties related to the Department of Diagnostic Imaging.
