Job summary

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with no evenings or holidays; location is 5 Neponset Street, Worcester, MA. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• AMA accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
• ARDMS certification required.
• RDMS breast technologist registered, or registration within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification maintained during employment.
• Ability to perform ultrasound exams across age groups per department guidelines.
• Maintain continuing education credits and licensure during employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies.
• Incorporate all technical skills with related clerical and service duties.
• Conduct routine quality control/quality assurance and maintain exam suites.
• Obtain and review patient clinical history and related reports.
• Instruct patients on exam procedures and preparation.
• Perform related clerical duties as needed.

Reliant Medical Group in Worcester has an opening for a full-time Ultrasound Technologist. Primary Responsibilities:

• This role incorporates all the technical skills associated with ultrasound, including related clerical and service duties
• Performs ultrasound studies, including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies, as assigned
• Performs routine quality control/quality assurance tasks and maintains exam suites in good and appropriate order
• Obtains and reviews patient clinical history and related reports/documentation
• Obtains pertinent medical history, instructs patient regarding exam procedures and preparation
• Performs related clerical duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
• Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• RDMS registered breast technologist, or become registered within 6 months of hire
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and maintain this certification during employment
• Demonstrated competency to perform ultrasound exams on newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, meeting all department guidelines
• Maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment
• Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $39.70 - $59.55 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
