MedStar Health is seeking a Registered Sonographer to join MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center. You will perform ultrasound scanning procedures, report preliminary findings to radiologists, and capture anatomical images to demonstrate organs.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program, 1–2 years of acute care hospital experience, and RDMS or eligibility. A limited time sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• 1–2 years' experience from an acute care hospital.
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or eligible.

Mansioni

• Performs exams such as abdominal echoes, renal, aorta, thyroid, pelvic, obstetrical, bio-physical profiles, vascular studies, testicular and breasts.
• Color flow studies, Doppler studies, renal biopsies, and fluid collections of localized areas.
• Marks image for proper definition and explanation; on-call status as needed; safety training participation.
