Hartford Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, generating quality images for radiologists and physicians. The role covers abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler, and interventional procedures as needed, with potential work in OR, IR, or inpatient units.
Qualifications include ARDMS/RDMS eligibility or certification, graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, and strong communication skills.

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation. The Ultrasound Technologist performs all aspects of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies and interventional procedures utilizing an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s individual age specific needs and to provide individualized age specific treatment and care. This position may require performing procedure in other departments such as O.R., I.R. and on hospital inpatient units. This position is 100% clinical.
