Job summary

HCA Florida South Shore Hospital in Florida is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our imaging team. You will prepare and position patients, perform sonogram examinations, and ensure accurate imaging and documentation while contributing to quality improvement.

As part of the HCA Healthcare network, you’ll work with a dedicated team in a supportive environment, with per‑diem scheduling and opportunities to advance in a world‑class health system.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• High School Graduate / GED

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
• Perform sonogram examinations accurately and in a timely manner
• Responsible for imagining, recording and processing ultrasound images
• Obtain and document complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered and informed consent
• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner

• Perform sonogram examinations in accordance accurately and in a timely manner

• Responsible for imagining, recording and processing ultrasound images

• Obtain and document complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered and informed consent

• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
