Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an Ultrasound professional in the Ultrasound department. The role involves performing ultrasound procedures at a technical level with independent judgment under the guidance of a Radiologist or Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator.

Shifts will include evenings, nights, and weekends; flexibility is essential. BLS/CPR certification is required, and candidates should have graduated from an accredited Ultrasound program.

Qualifications

• Require graduate of accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent.
• Prefer Board Certified American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
• Under the direction of a Radiologist and/or Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist and or the Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator performs Ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed sound waves for radiologic diagnosis or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

Require graduate of accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer Board Certified American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
